Hi, I am Annukka. I am a Certified ADHD Life Coach trained at the International ADHD Coach Training Center (iACTcenter), which is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited ADHD Coach training program. I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds based in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.
I was born in Finland, but in the last 25 years I have lived in many countries across four continents. I have a wonderful British husband and together we are raising our two creative and strong-willed third-culture kids, who have already experienced many cultures as we have been moving around. I am so impressed with their resilience during these changes and I am thrilled to see their personalities develop and strengthen as they get older.
I love going on adventures and discovering new places, hiking or skiing in the wilderness, exploring the underwater world while scuba diving, trail running in the forest with friends, finding my zen when painting with oils, or just hanging out and watching a film with my family, including our very old dog and young cat, on a Friday evening.
After a career in business, my interest in ADHD and coaching was sparked when my close family members were diagnosed with ADHD. Since starting my training as an ADHD Life Coach, I have experienced the transformational benefits that coaching brings to families and individuals with ADHD.
My passion is to help individuals with ADHD thrive and be comfortable to be their own unique selves. I want to support each person I work with so that they can make their dreams come true, whether it is going on an adventure, successfully setting up a business or even just figuring out what they really want to achieve today or tomorrow.
My calm and open approach provides a safe space for individuals and families to make a positive change in their lives. My global experience has given me a deep understanding and personal experience of the impact that cultural differences and expectations can have on individual or family dynamics. I know that there are many different ways you can do the same thing, and none of them is right or wrong, it just depends on what everyone around is used to doing.
